The China-Pakistan TVET-Industrial Centre of Excellence (CPTICE) has launched 610 scholarships for Pakistani students for the autumn 2025 semester, enabling them to complete the final year of their diploma or degree programs in China. This initiative is part of the Chinese Culture and Technical Education (CCTE) program, which promotes cross-border collaboration in academic and industrial training.
CPTICE is a joint venture between TANG International Education Group, a Chinese education technology firm, and Pakistan’s National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC). Through this program, students from 16 Pakistani institutes and universities can specialise in high-demand sectors such as artificial intelligence, big data, mechatronics, intelligent mining, hydraulic engineering, modern agriculture, nursing, and food security.
Mansoor ul Hassan Siddiqui, the Country Head of TANG International in Pakistan, confirmed that the allocation of scholarships will depend on institutional enrolment, ensuring optimal utilisation of the quota approved by Chinese partner institutions.
Notably, 18 students recently returned from Huanggang Polytechnic College in Hubei, China, after completing the final year of a three-year diploma in advanced construction technology, showcasing the ongoing success of the bilateral educational cooperation.
